The MC-100A-HD Heavy Duty Mortuary Cot by Junkin Safety Appliance Company features a 900 lb. load capacity that allows you to handle large bodies with ease and a narrow profile that allows you to place two cots side by side in larger vehicles. It is a multi-level cot that allows for easy bed to cot transfer. It is built of sturdy anodized aluminum tubing that will not oxidize and will keep looking like new for years. I specifically ordered the heavy duty for something a little more rugged. Medical examiner calls in Northern Michigan can be rough on equipment and this cot has not failed us. It can be a little tricky if you're not using a bumper ramp as the legs are more likely to collapse when hitting a straight edge, rather than a curved bumper.
